Supabase
Necessary- Purpose
- Authentication, database and storage for your account, scans and diary entries.
- Data shared
- Email, hashed password, user ID, scan and diary content, device IDs.

- EU / US (see Supabase DPA)
Google Gemini (via Lovable AI Gateway)
Necessary- Purpose
- AI vision and text analysis to identify foods and estimate FODMAP content.
- Data shared
- Uploaded images or the text you type into the scanner. No account identifiers are sent.
- Location
- Processed by Google; routed via Lovable AI Gateway.
Lovable (hosting)
Necessary- Purpose
- Serves the Scani web app and handles deployment.
- Data shared
- Standard request logs (IP, user agent) for security and debugging.
- Location
- Global CDN edge.
