Scani is a guidance tool that helps users estimate the FODMAP content of foods and dishes using text and image analysis. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool or substitute for professional healthcare advice.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Scani.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
• You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.
• You may not use Scani for any illegal, abusive or harmful purpose.

Scani offers both free and premium features:

• Free tier: limited number of scans per day. Diary logging is unlimited.
• Scani Plus: a future premium tier with higher or unlimited scan limits. Pricing and payment terms will be shown before any purchase.

We may change the limits or pricing at any time, but we will always inform you in advance before any paid subscription terms change.

Scani provides general guidance on FODMAP content based on publicly available information and automated analysis of the photo or text you provide. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your individual health situation. Always consult a doctor, dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition or symptoms that persist.

You use Scani at your own risk. Scani and its operator are not responsible for any health outcomes, allergic reactions or other consequences resulting from reliance on the app's guidance.

You keep ownership of any content you upload, such as food photos and diary notes. By uploading content, you give us permission to process it solely to provide the Scani service to you. We do not use your content to train general AI models.

You may not:

• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or abuse the app's API or AI features.
• Upload illegal, offensive, harmful or copyrighted content you do not have rights to.
• Use automated tools to create multiple accounts or evade usage limits.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the update date. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
